Im guessing this is maths, trig. right?

Anyway, its basically the 'reverse' of Tan.

Its normally used to calculate an angle in a right-angle triangle.

Im not sure what you have on your calculator, but over here its seen on the buttons as [tan-1]or as [atan]

If you want me to give you an example that would be no problem at a complete maths geek hahaha!
