Default Re: Outlawing Gayness

Personally, the whole gay marriage doesn't really bother me, because I don't really feel that marriage is always necessary. Let's look at the reasons behind people getting married. Firstly, to gain legal protection were the couple to separate. Well if that's the case, a civil partnership does perfectly well. Secondly, if they're Christian, marriage legitimises sexual relations, so they can have kids. In this case, gay couples can't conceive lol, so it makes no difference whether they're married or not. I'd go on, but it makes no difference to me anyway. In my personal opinion, the only thing that matters in a relationship, is whether both partners are in love, are faithful and committed, and that they are in a happy, healthy and rewarding relationship, not whether they're married or not.

And the sun sets in the sky
You're the apple of my eye
If the bomb goes off again
In my brain or on the train
I hope that I'm with you
'Cos I wouldn't know what to do
It means nothing
