Default Re: Linux Virus Immunity

ok. from my own knowlege of OS's, none are immune. all have the threat of viruses or hacking. the thing is that the people who send out the viruses tend to attack windows, because the most people use them. but there are alot of mac and linux viruses out there. but because most of the virus makers tend to use the lesser targeted OS's they tend to be safer, for obvious reasons (less likely to contaminate themself) so in order of safest out of mac windows and linux, its
1) Linux (least targeted)
2)Mac (targeted occasionally)
3)Windows (targeted most often)

oh and btw, if its a really bad one, like one that makes national news, none of them will be safer then the others, powerful viruses and hackers tend to attack everything they can touch if possible.
