I think blaming it all on religion is wrong and from what i've read gays are not hated by god but more by priests and so called religous people. To me its down to people who feel uncomfortable with change. And also most name calling is down to people trying to increase their social status and well being gay is a big divide, also like religion and raise. thats why we have racism and sactarionism and homophopia
