I have played a varsity sport everyseason since 7th grade. i worked out everyother day for a year and had gained over 40 pounds to my bench press. All that is important to look at is your progress. if the tone and strnght of your arms is changing your doing something right. if you want to know how normal you are... how tall are you and how much do yuo weigh?
with the ability to lift those weights at around 5'6'' you should weigh about 110 pounds to be in outstanding shape
