"Poor planning, air strikes by coalition forces and a "climate of violence" have led to more than 100,000 extra deaths in Iraq, scientists claim" - BBC http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/3962969.stm
Although probably an over estimate, other sources have said 48,000 iraqi deaths as a result of this war. Yet, only over 2,500 American Soldiers have died. so far, the number of iraqi civilian casualties has exceeded that of the US soldier death count of Vietnam. I pose the question: is it worth it? although not american, all of these deaths have been caused by failed bombings by
americans, or for
americans. Had we never gone in, these innocent people would not be dead. Whether 100,000, or 50,000, these people never did anythng to deserve this.
