Calming OCD down?

I've thought i've had OCD for quite some time, I checked my symptoms and it really looks like I do have it, and it seems to be getting worse. Its actually begining to irritate me and my friends, and probably my family too.

Is there any way to try and make the symptoms less servere. Because now with somethings, I re-ajust them without even knowing I am... so its getting really out of hand. I even started washing up on my birthday sleepover because the glasses everywhere were irritating me because it was messy... who does that? /=

I've been recently diagnosed... yesterday. I would see a psychiatrist and go into detail about what you've noticed about it, and they will judge by what you describe and put you on a medication if they feel the need for it. There are a few anxiety meds out there than could help. Hopefully it'll get better like I hope my new med will do :)

Get yourself to a doctor. Once they have confirmed your suspicions, treatment options will be put to you like medication and behavioural therapy.
