Freaking out
Ok so lately I've gained some new worries.
I assume everything is bugged.
I'll have to wear a certain piece of clothing until I'm sure it isn't bugged.
My dad just got a new printer for the upstairs and it's wireless and I assume that somehow it can show my parents my internet history( its.a.printer!)
My mom got my some new headphones for Christmas and I can't wear them because they might be bugged( and who exactly would be bugging all these things?!)
so yes, I know these are extremely irrational fears, and I never do anything illegal to begin with( I just have extremely conservative christian parents who might count the most wholesome thing I do online as sinful somehow)
I do have other OCD habits which I do on a regular basis, but these are fairly new.
I've been freaking out a lot about this all lately, so I need a bit of advice on how to kick some sense into my mind :/

Re: Freaking out
I have a friend who recently told me he feels like he's being watched or that someone is out to get him. your situation sounds similar- it might be paranoid schizophrenia?

perhaps when you feel these moments of irrational fear, concentrate on breathing and then list 3 reasons why the fear can't be true (don't count how they could be)

Re: Freaking out
if you have a therapist i suggest talking to them because this may be something other than ocd and even if it's not they can still help besides that list as many reasons why the fears are not true and maybe try doing things that are out of your comfort zone to show that nothing will happen

Re: Freaking out
It's just the day & age that we live in.. I assume I'm being watched 24/7 and figure it's the only rational way to live or you can get in trouble! Nothing wrong with you, just embrace it and as long as your doing nothing wrong, you have nothing to worry about! ;)
