HTML code is not allowed by any means. Use BB code. You can even go to the advanced post windows and create a link from it's buttons. It's not that hard to do. The BB code for a URL is http://website.com, or if you want to name you're link, then it is the_website_link_name (http://website.com). You can use spaces in the URL name, but not in it's address.

Check out this part of our FAQ to learn more (clicky). (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/faq.php?faq=vb_read_and_post#faq_vb_special_codes)

Heh, I'm not angered by HTML, but vBulletin will not allow just a few HTML tags and disallow all the others. It either accepts all HTML code or none and with it accepting all of it, there can be a lot of abuse. In fact, there is a lot of malicious code that can be written in HTML. I won't give any examples, sorry.

Anyway, vBulletin is great because it allows us to make custom BB code, which means if you want to be able to do something, like marquees, then we can make it happen with BB code: the only exception to this is HTML tags that do not have an ending tag (like br and hr tags) and tags that require more than 2 inputs.

Glad you asked :) Didn't mean to sound resentful or angry... sorry :D I posted that "Today, 05:04 AM" so I might have been a little apathetic.
