for those of you in mac land, you may know garage band
if you dont http://www.apple.com/ilife/garageband/
can i ask is there a windows alternative or a similar programe of it for windows? and is there places i can download it for a trial?
me and a few friends are thinking of trying to start a band (but like i dont think any of us can play an insturment so something that has instuments on it would help!!)

There's a program called Guitar Pro 4 for Windows that sounds like garage band. You can probably find it with Google. And not to be rude/mean/whatever, but you're going to have a hard time writing songs if you don't know use a real instrument.

i know! really all we would do is rip off other songs, or really crappy rhymes!! See we just suck!!

can i ask, it is anything like one of the ejay programes, where you choose differnt sounds ect. or do you have to make them all using actual instruments
