prozac

so, i'm being put on prozac, but heres the whole situation:

i'm going to the doctors on saterday to get the perscription AND make an appointment with a phycoligest (yea, i didn't spell it right) to get a second opinion about which anti-depressant i should be on, becuase we figure by the time i can tell if the prozac is working or not, i'll have the appointment so i can switch drugs sooner.

has anyone been/is on prozac? did it work for you? i know its difrent for every person but can anyone share how it made them feel?

I take another antidepressant and it works great. Hope you work out as well as I did.

Prozac sucks.. well thats my feeling right now. It is such a rollercoaster.. I don't know where I am. One minute I'm really, really depressed, then I'm extremely manic. I always thought I was bipolar, so if I am then this clearly isn't helping. I nearly jumped off a roof the other night because I thought I could fly =/

Also you can get addicted.. sorta. But I'd say take it because you don't know what it will be like until you try.

I havent been on prozac, but my mate who is currently on it tells me (and from what i have seen) he has many mood swings between aggresive nature and very calm natures. I hope it works well for you.

Hi! i havent been on prozac but i am on effexor xr right now and its making the depression more managable and making me able to function again.
