pre-cum/ cum?

hmm i'm wondering what the differance is between pre cum and real cum and how can you tell which is which. Because i started ejecting a quite clear substance which is quite sticky a month ago and can do it ever since but judging by the colour which is nearly see through i think it might be pre-cum any ideas?
