God? Heaven? Hell? Evolution?

Okay, I have my own views on God, Heaven and Hell.

Remember, I'm not trying to be authoritative. I'm talking like I am to get my point out better.

God is not a form. He is a power, but he is not a form.

The earth itself is hell. Look at BTK, the Amityville Horror, the Salem Witch Trials, the Holocaust, slavery. All examples of the horror of the earth and the hell of which it is.

Heaven-there is no such thing. Now if you go to "hell" after you die, your spirit lingers on earth for eternity. If you go to "heaven" your spirit is freed and you no longer feel the burden of the hell on earth.

Evolution-I haven't totally formed my views on this. I find it hard to believe that humans formed from one-celled organisms. Although humans have the tissue, bones, blood, organs, etc, I cannot agree with evolution on the simple basis of the human soul? There is something there, and it is called emotion, consecious. That had to come from somewhere, and that is your soul, your spirit.

Well, I think I've already made that apparent in some other threads, but look, I'm a radical Christian and I'm Catholic... blah.. All that kind of stuff.

Anyway, I'm afraid that my views differ from your's in a wide range, though I don't have the time to post about that right now :P

i am a catholic and i would be fairly religious person in certain ways, i do believe in heaven however i dont believe in hell, or maybe i just hope if doesnt exist. i dont believe god hates gay people and i think its wrong the way the church treats homosexuality. and as far as evolution ot concerned i am not totally sure what i want to believe.

History is important to me, I love museums and i love the idea that I evolved here that I changed and adapted, that I went from hiding in the upper most branch of a tree terrified of the predators lurking on the ground into the dominant species on the planet, past that....I don't know what to belive

I believe in God, always have, always will, I do believe that there is a place called ehaven, a place where eevrything is perfect....At times I do believe that hell is its own place and at times I do believe that hell is earth itself.....As with Evolution, I do believe that things evolve into other things, but I do believe God guided evolution.....That is what I think.

i agree

but my own thoughts is that when you die, your dead, thats it, you just die. You slit your wrist, you gett woozy you fall over, the end, you cease to exist. You cant even remember the part of falling over or even slitting your wrist or your whole life becaus eyou are dead.

HOWEVER if i lived in India or if there was a church around here i would deffinitley be a follower of Sikhism!

in my opinion, u r partially correct. god is NOT physical, only an awesome power which keeps earth (and the rest of the universe) in existence.

Earth: Is A living hell, but not ACTUAL hell.

heaven: is not a phisycal place, rather a dwelling/house for your soul 2 live in TILL it gets reincarnated (according to the old testament, it takes 2 months)

hell: it is also liek a home, till u get reincarnated, BUT if ur bad, u dont get reincarnated into a human, rather a derogatory creature (such as: dog, cat, snail, fish, apple etc.....) firstly, there r 3 types of evil souls.

1. Just some1 with slightly more bad deeds than good deeds. (he usually gets a chance 2 make-up)
2. Some1 who is SO evil that he cant even get into hell. He just wafts around earth forever more. (the term is dee-book)
3. And finally a mah-zik. He is some1 soo evil (such as Adolf Hitler) that he turns into a monster. I read bible stories about these holy guys getting attacked by these guys taking forms of seven-headed beasts etc..

As for evolution: there was only 1 thing at that time there 2 witness it; GOD, so i guess we gotta take his word 4 it
