View Full Version : Jetsons or Flintstones?

Flintstones for me. I find the writers using ancient objects to replicate modern ones (e.g. squawking bird alarm, elephant showers) very interesting. Or perhaps in this era, looking at the Jetsons' 'inventions' seems a bit lame. :p

Bear in mind both cartoons were written in the 60s...thoughts?

Why not both? They were both created and directed by the same two people (William Hanna and Joseph Barbara). They're both equally enjoyable to me.

I barely watched any Jetsons, but the Flintstones was always on TV.

Flintstones. The Jetsons were rich and lazy, and they had spoiled kids and robots that did everything. Whereas the Flintstones struggled with jobs being middle class, living in the stone age and dealing with their own problems.

LOL. It proves that you can still be a dumb ass whilst being rich and economically successful.

I hated how everyone begged for money from Jetson in the intro.
As if Jetson went in a bar, paid a random girl for sex and accidentally got her pregnant, then they married and then his life became even shittier.

I like the Jetsons more, since it makes fun of rich families.
When I was little, i've always been afraid to watch the Flintstones after watching the live-action movies first. Ughhhh...

I'd go for Jetson's simply because I'm kinda tired of watching The Flintstones and plus i like the robot.

I like them both, but if I had to only watch one it would be the Jetsons. I love technology (even if yeah, they are spoiled and lazy) and the Jetsons is a lot more interesting to me than the Flintstones.

This is a useless question, Jetsons is the only right answer. :judge:

I never watched Jetsons and I rarely watched Flintstones. However I'll go with Flintstones, because it's flintstones.
