This poem was previously posted on GovTeen as well.

This poem's theme is: Equality spawns hatred towards difference.

The grave that stands amidst a thoughtless mind,
between the tombstones of forgotten thought:
Intelligence which long ago was lies
will start this revolution which we've sought.

These democratic thoughts of modern day,
of singularity and consequence.
"All are equal." That's what we all say,
and all deserve the right to whole defense.

These hardened walls of freedom, built of brick,
all buried in this grave of modern thought.
They sing and praise their dogmas of the sick;
they rage against the populous they've wrought.

So sing and praise a new humanity
in which we live in practicality.

This poem spawns from something like how everyone not being the same is okay. It's okay to be different. Something like that. Share any interpretations of your own below.
