For those who fly often, or for those who have flown at all, what do you consider to be a long haul flight? How many hours on a plane would qualify a flight to be a long haul?

At least 6 hours, would be what I would consider long-haul. Generally long-haul flights are between 6 and 12 hours, with ultra long-haul being 12 hours and above.

Agree with Malcolm Tucker - Anything past 6 is long haul. I classify as follows:

0-2.5h: Short haul
2.5-6h: Medium Haul
6-12h: Long Haul
12-18h: Ultra Long Haul

Long haul to me is also 6+ hours. In 2 days time i'm doing one and have mixed feelings about it.

I would think 5 hours plus - for me.

8+ hours, longest I've been was a 23h but we did stop in some weird city half way there and change planes so that was technically two flights
