View Full Version : New Server, New PHP/MySQL, New vBulletin

Alright folks, I apologize about the recent down time, but I believe it was worth it. Some of the major changes are highlighted below:

New Server with New PHP/MySQL!
The site has been moved to a newer server. This means that we're now running with PHP 5 and MySQL 5 (instead of 4). This allows for more optimizations and a new query system called MySQLi. Another benefit of this is that our site will have much better performance!
New vBulletin!
The new version of vBulletin (3.6.9) was recently released with over 150 bug fixes and improved stability. This new version fully supports PHP 5 and MySQL 5, which also allows us to use MySQLi for vBulletin. This means better stability and better performance.
Unfortunately, some of the templates must be reverted to allow for newer features/fixes. So to avoid many errors and problems, I have disabled the other styles until I have properly reverted them. The default style has already been reverted - which means that some features that we had before are temporarily down.

At any rate, I should have the styles back up within the coming days.

Thank you for your patience,
