We all take commuter trains to get to our nearest major city, work, school etc. Which have you taken?
I've only taken the LIRR.

I'm Canadian so... VIA Rail, the GO train, not sure if you'd count the TTC subway.

I live a few hundred feet away from the Caltrain rail line so I used to take it a lot to Millbrae, San Francisco, and San Jose before I got my driver's license.

I tend to take BART more often than Caltrain when going to the city though, unless I'm going somewhere in the SoMa district (where Caltrain ends).

I've taken Metro North (To NYC) and MBTA (to Boston). It's not commuter rail, but I've also taken the subway in NYC as well as the T in the Boston area.

Being thousands of kilometres from any of those rail networks, I have used the Adelaide Metro and Transperth railways.

San Fran's BART, Denver's RTD Light Rail, New York's subway, Boston's MBTA.

My uncle would have been taking that exact train home, but he was running late.

Unfortunately, we don't have any passenger trains where I live. They would be great!

I'm from England, and I've only used HS1 to get me in/out London.

SEPTA in Philadelphia, MTA in New York, BART in San Francisco, METRO in DC, and Monorail at Disneyworld

I think trains should replace major highways.
