Hi! I'm just wondering what your current favourite bike is... Mine has to be this: the Honda CB650. (first attachment)

my first bike i think will be the Varadero 125, nice and comfy! (second attachment)

then when im 21, the cb650.

when im 30-ish, the cb1000. (third attachment)

Then when i'm 40-ish, the Crosstourer. (fourth attachment)

Incase you didn't notice, I'm a big Honda fan.......

I really want a sporty electric bike (http://www.zeromotorcycles.com/zero-s/sr.php), but they're really expensive and don't have great range yet... Gonna wait for battery technology to get better first.

theres a sporty electric out now, forget the name! Apparently it does 200+. A bike that goes that speed needs to have a red line of at least 14 ;) imagine something flying past at 200+ with only road noise and a bit of a whine, weird lmao!

Wow! The Veradero was the bike I wanted for the longest of times! But I ended up with this because it was an amazing deal for the price:

My next bike when I'm 19, a Sinnis Apachie 250:

When I'm 21 I want a KTM Superduke 1290cc:

(Orange and Black makes me spunk in my trousers)

Getting on this, a Trumph Speed Tripple:

And when I'm an old man I want this, a Triumph Bonneville, easier on my ageing frame:

Try the Zero SR, that's a decent electric bike, heard great things about that.

Awh, i love your YBR! love the wee pouch at the front :D I love those superdukes too! The laws here in ireland are fucked, its a 125 when your 17, then when your 19, a bike no larger than 35kw, the biggest ive seen is a 650 GS, but im not sure.. then when your 21 you can get any size. but if you havent taken the two previious tests, you have to wait until your 24 to get a big bike (as in 1000s) i might have to cross the water to england to get my Vara, because theres none here for sale in ireland i dont think. well, decent ones.. my da has the varadero 1000 see :D when im an ol' boy, i might go for a harley, because you don't even have to throw your leg over them, you can just walk over the back :')

My uncle has a Harley, the are great bikes, even older ones, his is a 1990. Here's a story to show how reliable the engines are:

There is a pin inside the engine, a big thick fuck off thing, it's job is to hold the piston onto the connecting rod, it snapped (after 23 years of every day use, props to the engine, it had over 300,000 miles on it), this pin, about an inch in diameter, fell down into the crank, it fucked the engines up, it needed a total rebuild, BUT, the engine didn't break down, it didn't even lose power.
It was 1 cylinder down, and was literally ripping itself apart, and it still went as usual, he didn't know anything was wrong till the pin punched a hole in the crank case and spilled oil everywhere. Those engines are fucking indestructible.

But the wiring is wank and breaks ever 2 miles, burnt fuses, lose connections ect, great bikes, horrible wiring. My uncle once said this:

With Davidson, it's like they have 1 guy who does electrics, one guy who does the engine, and another who does the frame, and they all work in different rooms, and at the end, they are all shoved into 1 room and forced to make the parts they designed fit together.

Holy shite :') thats fucking cat! your uncles theory seems legit... my dad and i went to france, germany, belgium, and luxemburg on the bike over the summer, and on the way too france by the ferry, there was a group of about 5 harley riders, but all their harleys were vintage, they had kick starters and all, they were all fired up and echoing in the ferry and all, it was so sweet! The smell was unreal as well :')

Reminds me, some 16 year old chavs on 2 stroke 50cc scooters pulled up behind a group of about 50 or 60 Harley riders a few weeks ago. So chavs did as chavs do and tried to be hard and all started doing rev bombs and wheel spins (shit ones), and the Harley riders got angry, the one at the front suddenly raised his hand in the air to signal and all of a sudden ALL the Harley riders red lined at once, my god, it sounded like the end of the world had arrived. I have yet to hear anything as loud, and I've stood next to a 747 as it takes off.
