Well, too answer the first part of your question, its quite easy to know if you're cut or uncut, but if websites haven't helped, then me describing it to you isn't going to help. I mean, it seems a bit strange that you don't know if you're cut or uncut, BUT the easiest way to find out is to ask your parents, because they're ones who would have had you circumsized (if you were). If you were circumsized [or "cut"] I'm sure you're parents would've brought it up at one point.

Not necessarily. I don't and I'm uncut. The skin is just short.

Maverick's image is good. Those are just typical examples though. Being cut just means some of your foreskin has been removed. It's possible for a cut guy to look like he's uncut at one extreme, and vice-versa at the other (I guess). But generally that image is a good guide.

Isn't circumcision a surgery? -cision is the root for cut.
So the skin isn't behind the glans, it'd be cut off.

well you dont have any foreskin because it is removed but you still have skin on your penis even if it is cut, and the skin usually starts from behind the head and down towards the body.
