I've done this with other vehicle types like SUVs and Compact cars. Well, now it's Midsize sedans. I am well aware that I'm missing a lot of cars such as the Subaru Legacy, the Dodge Avenger, and so on. Problem is that I only have 10 poll slots and a limit of 10 images in each post. I'm too lazy to make a part 2. Anyways, below are visuals of all 10.

I really found myself liking every single one. As I look back 10 years to most of these cars, they just all look so bleh. Now all of them have interesting, sharp angles and look very upscale in a way. I wound up choosing the Chrysler 200 simply because the V6 version does 0-60 in 5 and a half seconds and still gets 32 MPG combined. If I throw performance out the window, my choice is the Chevy Malibu simply because I like the design of American cars.

Tough call between the Accord, Mazda 6, and the Passat.

I'm biased because my neighbors got a new black on black Accord coupe and that thing is just... beautiful. I've also seen a hatchback Mazda 6 in person and that was super nice as well... and as for the Passat, gotta rep my VWs (but my favorites are the MK4 Jettas, Passats, and Golfs) !

I like VW and all, but they aren't too reliable and because they're German cars, repairs and general Maintenance are really expensive. It's really too bad because they're nice looking and made of real materials unlike certain American and Asian cars.

Oh believe me, I'm perfectly aware. Helps to have a mechanic friend that works at the nearest dealership. He's a lifesaver.

Just wondering; is the insurance higher than usual?

Just wondering; is the insurance higher than usual? I don't think so... we have three cars on our family insurance plan, zero accidents. We have a '98 (old van), an '04 (being the VW), and an '07 (Mazda 5). I don't remember the exact number breakdown, but the insurance for the VW was not too much more then the old van ~ they were in the low $200's (half-year) whereas the '07 was around $350-ish.

I have never quite gotten how the heck VWs are hyper-reliable here in Europe and they're crappie in the states. Same with BMWs and their HPFPs. Didn't happen here, but happened there...

If I'd live in the states, I'd go for the accord, and if I was in Europe, I'd take the Passat.

My lack of understanding cars is disturbing. That's a sedan type of car? I'd just call it "car" or "city car" at best.

The sonata and the Malibu look best though.

I've always liked Mazda and Nissan. Nissan as far as performance goes. (every singe Skyline GTR) But I've always liked Mazda because they seem really innovative and on top of their game and the styling is great.

Where's the A6? (or S6)

Audi is where it's at!
But VW holds a special place in my heart too.
