I've been interested in doing it, but i'm too shy/scared that I'd get yelled at :P
Also I use a Canon Rebel T2i

I do a bunch of it. Can be found here (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showthread.php?t=207819&page=7). I have a simple camera right now for practicing. Will probably get something fancier for my b-day in 3 weeks.

I was scared and shy at first but you have to take that baby steps. I take photos of people and most of the time they come from vulnerable sectors of society. Just be yourself, smile a lot and tell them the truth why you want their pictures. If they say no, then walk away. If yes, try to get to know them more. You will hear lots of amazing stories from new people. Some sad, others inspiring, others just plain strange but its all rt of the experience :)

Simplicity is beautiful Ezra :) what camera do you plan on getting? Cemetery shots arent weird at all unless of course thats the effect you want to achieve. With your permission, id like to post process some of your pictures and turn them to bnw

Please use the 'edit' button instead of double posting ~Typhlosion

I have an identical thread in another forum so there I also posted...

Oh yeah, got my first pic of Portland type weirdness taking place here.
Yes that's someone sitting out on the sidewalk using an ancient typewriter.

I like the way it also captured the lady walking by with a kind of "whatever" expression.

Not sure if this got posted...

You can make a project about suburbs with some of the pictures herw. The lady in the typewriter would be so much better if you moved closer to get the shotm you may even get the curiosity of the lady passerby :))

Yeah I shrunk it too much. They turn out huge when downloaded into My Pictures and I usually shrink them down to 30%. If I had not saved changes I could have cropped it and gotten a lot more detail. oh well.

Ahh street photography, the best type of course :P Started taking photos in general in May. I take so many street photos but don't post them. I tend to go to china town, things are always bustling there. My work in general is here (http://www.flickr.com/eggyy101). But my street photography I dont tend to post. Camera is the 600D/t3i

Thats a wise philosophy eggy and that's how I go about my work too. I don't post everything. I only choose the best and upload 1 picture for every month! youve got some wonderful shots started following you too!
