The "Berceuse" from the Firebird Suite. It's very mournful. At this point in the ballet, everyone who is of the kingdom has been turned to stone. In English, Berceuse translates out to "lullaby". However, instead of sleep, this "lullaby" seems to reference a more permanent sleep... Until the Firebird restores all the subjects in the Wonderful finale. I'll post the Berceuse and the Finale so you aren't left in everlasting dread. Lol

And So It Goes is one of Billy Joel's masterworks and this one really hits home. For me, having my heart shattered on New Year's Day 2016, this one is one I truly understand.

A song that reminds me of the end of a relationship with a girl that I truly loved, also a song that reminds me of the fact that that my biological mother can't stand me and that I'll probably never know her, Chrissie Hynde's cover of "I Wish You Love" is such an emotional load for me to take in. Occasionally I shed tears to this song.

Just sort of a pessimistic song, I often find myself going back to this one... And how appropriate... It's still Monday...

So yeah.
There's some sad music.
