Some guys get heavy beards and other
guys get light ones. It depends on what
u r intended to inherit. Usually u start with
peach fuzz and then it starts to grow in. I
just started shaving but still it is not ready
to grow in even. I'm 17. U just have to wait.

I'm 19 and still can't grow a good beard. But I started shaving my dirty moustache at 14? Didn't need to shave regularly until maybe 17? Even then it was like once a week at most. But I'm blond so.

I'm 17 and I could probably grow a beard, but I never let it grow past stubble. I've been shaving since I was 15. I wouldn't worry too much about it. All guys are different. Some are more hairy than others. I'm a hairy guy but other guys aren't. My dad and uncle even have hair on shoulder and back, so I'm sure I'll have to deal with that too. So everyone is just different. It just varies from guy to guy.

some never get heavy beards. some get them at early ages. time will tell. how much facial hair does your dad grow? that might be a good indicator for you. either way it is a time thing

It really differs from one person to the next. You may be 20 before your beard really fills in.

I'm 19 years old and only recently did I start growing actual facial hair. I'm physically grown up in like every other way, but only recently was when I started to grow thicker hair on my chin. It's still really patchy on my cheeks, so I shave it off.

Mine started growing gradually and slowly. It started at 13 I'd say.

I'm almost 17 in 4 months and I only have a few hairs on my chin, and no mustache. My brother is 13 and you can see the mustache on his face.

I was about 13 when I first shaved. I do it about once a week now.

Well, I'm 16 and only have a little bit of mustache and almost none beard, but one guy in our class has a full-on beard. So it's different for each person.

I can get a heavy beard if I let it grow over a long time but I don't let that happen because I like stubble or short-trimmed. I've seen boys get beards and staches early but I've also seen boys without facial hair, get more hair later than the boys who had hair early.
