Sen. Ted Cruz has been busy on Twitter.

The Republican lawmaker from Texas was among more than 400 accounts that liked a two-minute-long porno from an explicit website on the social media site.

Lewd footage of the actors — two women and a man — briefly appeared on Cruz’s feed of liked tweets for no particular reason early Tuesday. It vanished from his page just before 1:30 a.m. (ET)

It’s unclear whether the married father of two personally liked the tweet or if a staffer using his account did the deed.

Although Twitter prohibits pornography on its platform, that did not stop the failed presidential candidate’s personal account from liking the video.

A spokesperson for Cruz did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

This has to be the funniest thing I've seen in a while. The best part is I saw a post on Reddit about it like five minutes after the tweet happened! 2017 can't get much better than this. :lol3:

We already know those over-religious politician are often not who they say they are, but come on this is a non story just written to attack a politician on what is possibly just accidental like which can happen when you use Twitter on your phone. If they want to attack Ted Cruz there is plenty of options. This is just a waste of time and space they could have spent on real news.

I don't see anyone attacking Cruz, we're just meming him. No one has given a single damn about that man or his politics since he got b*tch-slapped by Trump in the primaries. If the internet see something funny, they'll meme it. Lighten up.

I have no problem with people on the Internet meming him. I have a problem when the media does it and pass it as news.
