Hi, not sure if this is the right section to post this, but here goes anyway...
So each of my family has their own phones/ tablets and then we have the family computer and here's where it gets awks.... the web history shows someone has looked porn sites. I was worried someone would see them and blame me, so I deleted them. But now they're back again... I can't keep deleting but also don't want to get blamed. What should I do??

If it honestly isn't you then don't worry too much, someone else has clearly done it and will delete it themselves if they wanna hide it

Idk reset the browser and use some other browsers maybe? Also watch porn or do whatever in incognito, that way it won't save your history. Not sure bout other browsers but for chrome it is crtl+shift+n.

depending on the browser you are using, you can go into the settings and have it delete the history after every session -- meaning, when you close your browser it will delete the history everytime.

Create your own account on the computer and establish that you use that with the rest of the folks in your house so that if anyone does come across the web history on the account shared by everyone else, it can't be blamed on you.

If it your sibling tell them you keep finding it and ask if they want you to show them how to clear it. If it is one of your parents then just keep doing what you are doing.

you could change the settings in the browser and make it stop saving the history

Create your own account on the computer and establish that you use that with the rest of the folks in your house so that if anyone does come across the web history on the account shared by everyone else, it can't be blamed on you.

this is also a really good idea...thats what we do at my house

Check to see the time the sites are usually accessed. See who uses the computer most during those times. Once you have a good idea as to who it is then confront them.

I learned the hard way. Mom saw my history and caught me last year. Now I'm super careful use private/ incognito or clear the history if I forget. Now that I live at my uncles the computer is almost never available so I just use my phone. And no one can see anything without my passcode.

just use a portable browser on your own usb-stick, so you can use it on several PC. also set it to clear all the browsing stuff when closing the browser.

Why do you think that you would get blamed? It could be one of your siblings or even one or both of your parents that are looking at porn. If you aren't doing it then you can either ignore it or have a family discussion about it or just keep clearing the internet history.

You can set it to never remember your history. I use the Firefox browser but every browser is generally the same (I think). Go to the options menu of your browser an click "options". Then go to "privacy" and in the history section, change it to "Never remember history".

If you have a brother I'd check with him as that's the most likely source. Having said that much like others on here have said, don't worry to much as it wasn't you and I'm sure your parents wouldn't randomly approach you about it even if you had been watching it. Don't stress about it

If you use chrome, just create your own account separated from your family, and then no body can blame you

Maybe it's your younger siblings ??
They don't know how to clear history or use incognito
Maybe you can teach them xD

Don't worry so much about it. If someone else is watching porn on the family computer than obviously everyone knows that it might not be you if it was discovered.
