I'm 15, turning 16 in almost 6 months and I barely have any armpit hair. I have a few little black hairs in my left armpit but little blond hairs in the other. I was wondering if this is normal and when can I expect fully grown armpit hair. I can send a pic to you if you want to see where I'm at in my armpit hair development.

I didn't get armpit hair until I was 16, people all develop at different rates! Nothing to worry about

I'm turning 16 in a month and I also have a small amount of armpit hair. I think it's completely normal to get it later.

I'm the same age as you and I'm just about the same as you. I have maybe a dozen fine darkish hairs, maybe an inch long, in each pit. They're pretty much invisible unless you're looking right at them from just a few inches away. So, from a distance, it looks like I have no armpit hair at all yet.
So, I think you and are are both still normal for our age.

I got barely any armpit hair at 13 and thought that was late, but I think it just varies for everyone

Everyone's body is different, so honestly, any place youre at is probably totally normal. I think i got mine towards the end of 13

it's common, the body doesn't grow from one day to another

Armpit hair is usually about 2 years after pubic hair starts to grow in my experience. It took me a while to grow some and it starts off small like you were saying and then grows thicker. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you.

I learned that all the different signs of puberty can happen in any order. But if I look at the boys in my class in school, there isn't a single one Ive seen in the showers or changing room who has any armpit hair. So I'm guessing that is usually one of the last signs to appear.
