Not sure if this is the right place for this

Girls PLEASE until your like 18 do not let anyone take nude pictures of you; A friend of mine let her BF take a bunch and when they broke up he "Lost" the pictures. She had to tell her Mom about them. Just cause a guy "Loves You" does not mean it will be forever. Also if a guy asks you to send him some ask why does he want to see them.

Sorry just had a hard time with stuff like this.

why only until you're 18? I would never do it. Guys share that shit with all of their friends, whether you're broken up or not.

Remember that stuff that gets on the Internet is there forever. That's enough for me. And your phone can get hacked or stolen or whatever.

This is not true at all, if you're old enough to have pictures like that taken of you where you live and YOU want to take pictures then do it, just think about the risks. Stop repressing female sexuality people and don't judge girls who do have pictures because all you're doing is degrading those girls and every girl world-wide

nobody here is repressing anything, we're giving advice and warning against the risks of sending such pictures. MOST girls who send nudes to a guy do it because they are pressured into it. They feel guilty, or feel as if the guy won't like her if she doesn't meet his demands. That is a much more unhealthy attitude than a little shaming for falling for the oldest trick in the book. If you're confident and have good self esteem, you'll realize you don't need to send a guy any nudes...because he should like you for who you are, not just what you look like naked.

Swapping nudes sounds like a bad idea no matter what age.

i don't think anyone was intending to repress sexuality, i think the overall sentiment was just "be careful if you're going to do it".

Legal concerns. I wouldn't do it either because stuff gets leaked and found all the time, but if you're below 18, people can get arrested, including you.

This.
A couple of kids at my school are permanently on a sex offenders register for distributing child pornography, all it took was was a topless photo of a 15 yo girl and things went downhill from there.

If somebody wants to take nude pics of themselves and share that's their right (legal reasons tho) but imo they should never think just one person is seeing them. If they are ok with every person at schoolseeing it then ok share

You're right, A girl i know showed everybody pics of her bf when they broke up

ya it happens both ways, with boys too

I thought topless would be legal

Why would distributing pictures of topless girls under 18 be legal?

I wasn't sure tbh. But I thought there had to be a sexual part of the image. Like having sex for sure. Or Even being suggestive. But boobs aren't necessarily 100% sexual. They're purpose is actually breastfeeding not sex. AND boobs are legal in Europe and stuff.

Vaginas and penises aren't necessarily 100% sexual either. They're used for peeing. Butts aren't necessarily 100% sexual either. They're used for pooping.
"Boobs are legal in Europe"? Sorry, but.. what? If boobs were illegal in the USA 50% of the population would be doing something against the law, namely having boobs. Now, wouldn't you say your remark is kinda silly? I would.

Distributing pics of girls' boobs is illegal, also in Europe. Especially if the girls are under 18. For 18 and over, you will have to have the express consent of the girl herself.

I have traded pictures with other guys. Only ones I trust a lot and no face unless it's someone that I really trust. I haven't with girls because I am not interested in nude girls. I have sent a couple to girls that were really curious. But there are loads of nudes on the net if you just want to see nude people.

Ummm I think you know what I mean about the "boobs are legal in Europe" comment. I was obv referring to topless beaches and tv shows and tv commercials (not every country, but many). Also, what did I do to touch a nerve? I just wasn't sure if a picture of a girl on a topless beach was illegal. I thought it maybe had to be more sexual than that.

First of all: you did not touch a nerve. I'm Dutch. We say it as we see it. Some people find that rude or surprisingly upfront, but we don't know any better. If we say that you look terrible, we don't say that to embarass or insult you. We say it simply because you look terrible.

A human body is beautiful. And it is not sexual in itself. It is MADE sexual. Or would you say that the majority of people thinks "her baby is going to get fed well!" when they see boobs instead of "mmmm boobs! (Homer Simpson style)"?

A picture of a girl on a topless beach is not illegal. However, distributing and/or publishing a picture of a topless girl is illegal, especially if the girl is under 18. And if the girl is 18 or over, you have to have permission of that girl.
And that's the same in all of the EU.
That we, in general, in Europe have a more healthy approach to nudity than the US has nothing to do with it.

Thats cool, I like the honesty. Some people are so afraid to saying anything in case someone else gets upset.

Irrespective of all that, it's a really silly idea to send nudes in my opinion especially if you're under 18, certainly in UK

Ok ya I get some of that. But so if a 18yo girl sends me a pic of her on a topless beach can either of get in trouble? How about a 17yo?

no offense, but i don't it'd be a good idea for a guy to send a girl pics of himself nude either ... they're not necessarily anymore more trustable especially if the relationship goes bad, i've seen girls do some pretty mean shit to friends that they've broken up with
