I'm just glad the Chabs (Habs) are out. My team isn't in the playoffs.

They won last year, it's time for another team, I hope it's Edmonton or Nashville.

Congratulation to the Penguins on becoming the new Chicago Blackhawks, try to give a chance to someone else next year. Oh and I hope you lose Murray in the expansion draft :)

It was pretty quick whistle, but the ref couldn't see the puck was still loose so he stopped the play. The problem there is no rule that would let them reverse the call and allow the goal definitely something they should look at to change maybe even add it to the coach challenge rule. Talking about the coaches challenge, it could have been worst, a lot of people we're expecting all season that the Cup winning goal would be decided by a challenge on a offside, so at lease we avoided that.

my understanding: the goal could have been up for review had another player not touched the puck AFTER the whistle

i'm sure if you go back through the season every team could find a spot and say "if the ref had done this differently"

it's a fast paced sport, so human error on the players side and the refs side is bound to happen.

They can't review the whistle they can only review whether or not the puck cross the goal-line, if it did than its up to the ref to decide if he blew the whistle before or after it crossed the line.

Beside Pens fans, who didn't?

There are over 30 teams in the league and you have to win 16 games in the playoffs to win it all, most teams will only win the cup every 30-40 years, so if it's been less than 40 years, it's not that long ago.

But when you support one team and they haven't won in you lifetime it feels like ages

The Rangers are a perfect example of that with 1 cup in the last 77 years
