So we (family) spend a lot of time in France especially in the summer holidays and I was wondering if anybody knew what requirements someone needs in order to get a cafe or waiter job in France if you're a foreigner eg moi. I have a delf B2 thingy recognised in Europe, which is like proof I speak french fluently enough to study or work there so that isn't the issue. But I don't know where to start... any suggestions would be great!!

Thank you

Well there could be some problems with working in cafe or restaurant, because most of them serve alcohol, so you could probably work as a waiters helper - cleaning the tables, cutting/serving bread, helping with getting the food to the client. That's at least from my own personal experience, but I didn't work in France, so I'm not 100% sure.

that would be amazing to work in another country! that's the advantage you have in Europe - so many countries not that far away. I'm stuck in the middle of the USA...sigh.
