Is it dead? Do people still make homebrew and not share it?!?!?

Thoughts?

I know the PSP was very hyped up initially, then crashed and burned critically once it was out. In my opinion it is dead, the Nintendo DS series and smartphones were simply so superior.

I still feel that there is sooo much potential for the psp. I just don't yet quite understand how to update the homebrew. I've been dabbling in Ultimate PspTube Javascript, but yet to have a site sucessfully fetch/display video.

Omg I remember back in the day when I had my PSP and I would play the shit out of it. Good times, I only owned one though but it still works, think it was the first one they brought out but not sure. Never cared about the Vita

I have a 3001 model. I have managed to get some of the homebrew to work like the PMPlayer Advance Video Player.
I am taking programming classes. Maybe bring back the Psp Scene.

Dead, newer, sexier hardware is out, eventually no one will care anymore even though it does have some potential left
