Anybody else a fan of DOTD or any other Romero flicks? I recently saw George Romero's classic Dawn Of The Dead with my friends recently and thought it was simply one of the best movies ever made. It's a deviously clever film, addressing social issues and basic human rights under the guise of a gorefest. It also manages to be funny as well as frightening, and set the standard for zombie films ever since. Plus, the soundtrack by Goblin is heavily dated but still killer. (Also, I've been gone for several months, so I'm not dead, if anybody was worried)

I'm more into the Italian zombie movies, where the zombies are more like rotting corpses with maggots and worms crawling out of their orifices.

Dawn of the Dead was marketed as Zombi in Italy. The Italian zombie movies are hardcore. Funnily enough, Zombie Flesh Eaters was called Zombi 2.

I love all zombie movies to be honest. I'm a bigger fan of the remake of Dawn of the Dead than the original however.
