2 weeks ago I felt a sharp pain in my right elbow while I was lifting weights. So I took 2 weeks off and iced and massaged it. I went back to the gym yesterday and the same thing happened. I work out both arms at the same times so why would one elbow hurt and not the other? It has been hurting me really bad all day today as well. Why does this happen?

Is there a trainer or coach or someone like that where you work out? I would talk to them about that and see if they can help you. You also might try working out with lighter weights and work your way up as time goes by. Good luck man.
