Yeah you can Google for information on foreskin stretching. It is best like in the shower or bath and take it slow and easy. Don't hurt yourself.

Hi, I am new here. When I had sex for the first time a few months ago, the girl I was with was trying to retract my foreskin, but in the end we gave up and had sex anyway.

I looked on google and something said that the foreskin may just need to be stretched to loosen it. Is this true?

If anyone else has had this issue or knows a way to sort this, please tell me how you fixed it :D

Thanks,
Isaac

There is a condition called phimosis. Can you retract your foreskin when soft, or is it still tight then? It is just a case of stretching over a period of weeks. The doctor can prescribe steroid cream. Only in severe cases is circumcisions required

What those guys said above. If you can't retract it, and I'm assuming you are in puberty since you are here and have had sex, then that is a problem. All boys should be able to completely retract it when soft at a minimum!

Idk about should, but it's good to be able to retract. I've had experience with this, and the number one rule with stretching is if it hurts, even a tiny bit, you're doing it wrong. You should be able to feel that tugging and stretching sensation but not even a little bit of pain. Also, make sure to take twice as long as the stretch time between stretching it.

I remember my pediatrician saying that boys should retract by age 15. After that, there is some concern. Personally I just squeaked in under the deadline, so I am not sure what would have happened - steroid cream or circumcision.

You should pull it back and stretch it out every day. When I was younger I could not pull mine back at all. Once you start pulling it back it stretches out quick. It won't take long

I use vaseline to stretch out my foreskin. I did it over a few months every day and now there's no problem

I think much depends on where you live. Here in the UK the National Health Service advocates doing the minimum required suggesting, in many case, that no treatment is necessary. See this article from the NHS Choices website (http://www.nhs.uk/conditions/phimosis/Pages/Introduction.aspx).

The article above doesn't specifically address having sex or masturbating. I don't have the problem myself but I have seen a guy, in porn, have sex, with a condom on, so this must be possible.

All the same, if I was in your position I'd want it to retract and stretching seems like a good start. If you don't have success with that then some steriod cream maybe the next thing to try. Here in the UK you can get 1% hydrocortisone cream over the counter at pharmacies but you would probably get faster results with the stronger 2.5% cream which your doctor can prescribe.

I never had that problem. Mine goes back all the time when I get a boner.

He just means that he can pull it back all the way when he's both soft and hard, not that it stays back all the time.

I am cut but one of my best friends is uncut and had something like this happen. He used some cream you can buy and applied it while stretching his foreskin carefully. He said it hurt a little when he first started. I think he retracts his foreskin now daily or his girl friend does.
