View Full Version : Sociopathy ? I think I'm fucked...

August 11th, 2016, 12:14 AM
I already posted on here for multiple reasons, one of them beign suicidal about a week ago, now I'm fine by the way, but this is not why I post here. Today I post because of something really weird that evolved from something innocent from something quite intense and potentially dangerous for me and especially others. We'll need some backstory here, It all started with porn, I liked watching some quite extreme porn ( I might be a porn addict by the way, don't know if it has any influence on this but hey ) like bondage stuff and I quick wanted to see if there was more hardcore stuff, I'll spare you the details but I eventually got into snuff, if don't know what it is google it with safe search. And now, it evolved again, I feel a sexual thrill when I see violence in real life or when I see people dying. I kill small animals and shit and I have a boner. I enjoy killing stuff and seeign stuff die. Is it that bad, no one in my entourage knows about it. But th worst is that it all started with innocent ''what if'' and evolved into that, but now I have other, more extreme ''what if'' going throught my mind, involving people. I don't want that to happen, but neither did I want the previous things to happen and they did. Help me !

This has little to do with actual sociopathy.
However if what you're saying is true you better seek for some medical help, killing animals is not really considerate a sign of healthy mind.

Yeah...I really advise you seeing a specialist about this. What you describe is not necessarily sociopathic but extremely dangerous and shouldn't be treated lightly.

I agree with the others here. I don't think your off with the sociopath though. I thinks it's like a precursor to Zoosarism. Yeah that's a word. I read this on Wikipedia, and tbh, it seems people with this can easliy to move to people. So id follow other posters and mine and seek professional help ASAP

Here read about it what I found

Good luck. Let us know how you make out ok?

Also be careful, cruelty to animals is a huge thing in most countries. If you get caught you might have more shit to worry about

I too don't think it has much to do with being a sociopath or a psychopath.

They are cool labels to associate with though. The way I see it, sociopathy is more about not seeing yourself as a part of the society and adopting/blending in into it for survival.

Now, on the topic:

I think you just get off on dominance and control. Their extreme versions. Like, when killing someone, you satisfy your insecurity of being in control, in COMPLETE control, over their life.

You also say that you're not in control over your emotions in this regard: that you're "addicted" to porn, suicidal and that "these things" happened even though you didn't want them to.

I think you just have too much time on your hands and that you're not in control of your own life and these are ways you try to make up for it.

I'm not a doctor though so you decide.

This is anti-social behavior and needs professional therapy to treat this.

It can be a huge problem and you could really hurt society if this is left untreated.

The only counter measure to curb such a drive in my unprofessional opinion is to practice and embrace empathy.

This to me stems from how your mind values the concept of power in life, and you have to dig real deep to find why it matters to you and if from different perspectives if it truly matters in the long term (100+ years average lifespan).

This does not sound like sociopathy in the slightest. This sounds like sexual sadism. I personally have a very minor issue with non-sexual sadism. I personally would say that it's fine as long as it doesn't progress to the point at which you have to harm someone to get off. If you ever get the urge to harm someone in any respect unless you're in a fit (still don't hurt anyone), then I say you should look into getting some psychiatric help.

Best of luck.

Edit: I read over the animal part. I think you definitely should get some help.

@Lietchenstein (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/member.php?u=118585),

I say this in a caring sort of way: You should feel bad about killing and harming animals as well as taking advantage of people and creatures that either don't consent or cannot consent. Feeling bad and guilty about it is usually the first step to helping to stop it.

Enjoyment of death and actually going out and killing animals is really bad. In fact, legal action could be taken against you if anyone ever caught you trying to kill or harm an animal. Try researching the psychology of sympathy and see if you can try to emulate sympathetic behavior, i.e. putting yourself in other peoples' shoes.

If that doesn't help much, please get professional help.

I'm actually going to beg you here Lietchenstein

Stop. Killing. Animals. Please.

You actually need to find a progessional asap before this gets out of control. It might be rude but what you're doing is bad. It's actually terrible to be honest.

As most people said GET HELP. This can get worse easily if you don't watch out.

I'm pretty sure everyone here will agree with me when I say we're not judging you. I know this might all sound like we are, were only trying to reply to your original post, and give you the best advise we can.

Getting professional help, or suggesting it to you is not a judgement or being critical at all here. I'm pretty sure I see a lot of concern from members for you your safety and other potential problems that can come from this, as well as any possible needless victims. Regardless of how I significant their lives may seem.

We're all living beings, and were trully wana help you get the assistance you need before this gets worse.

It's been a while, how are you doing?
