Yes! Mom is making it now for breakfast for us so here goes:

3 eggs
1/3 cup half and half cream
1/2 teaspoon cinnamin (I can't spell it grrr)
1/2 teaspoon raw sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

whole wheat bread.

Soaks it for a few seconds on each side getting the bread good and moist, then pan fries on stove top with veggie oil and we serve it with maple syrup.

Butter in a frying pan is the best.

First time posting here but I used to make
French toast for a family I was living with as
an exchange student in Australia one summer.
They enjoyed it and never heard of or eaten it
before. I was making it every morning for them
and myself.

Other than most of usual recipes posted above
I added about a teaspoonful of honey and some
zest of an orange peel-But Not too much to the
egg and milk mixture. U can add vanilla extract
also but sometimes it might make it bitter. instead
of honey and zest u can substitute a teaspoonful of
maple syrup.
