Pictures taken from the Eureka Tower in Melbourne two weeks ago in the early evening. The Eureka Tower is located on Southbank, just on the edge of the city along the Yarra River. Being an enclosed building, the pictures are subject to glare which is a shame, but hopefully they are still okay?

Looking over the eastern part of the city with Flinders Street station and the river at the lower left.

Starting from the bottom, the Arts Centre precinct, St. Kilda Road, The Domain, including the Sidney Myer Music Bowl. Then the sporting arenas from left to right, the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), the Tennis Centre, home of the Australian Open and then on the right AAMI Park, home to football and the rugby codes.

Looking bayside towards South Melbourne, Albert Park and St. Kilda

Sunset, looking west towards the Yarra River, Docklands and the Bolte Bridge
The green spot is glare but the rectangle of light bottom right is an LCD advertising screen

I love the last shot! They're all nice photos but the last one has a strong composition. The ratio of land and sky looks great and I love the lights. Nice work.

Nice photos, the views look so good, especially the ones where it's darker and you see all the lights below. :)

Yes, I picked the best time of day to be there getting the light and dark pics. The lights look really nice. Thanks for posting. :)
