I've been diagnosed Bipolar Type 1 and Borderline Personality Disorder for almost 3 years now. For the first 2 and a half years I suffered because I refused medication, as I thought I was smarter than my pdoc and told him I was just depressed.
I've been on a mood stabilizer for a month now, and this is the first time I've been medicated for Bipolar. Well I have been feeling great and stable I just can't help and long for the days when I was manic. Being in a manic episode was the best and most productive I ever felt. It was pure euphoria combined with limitless energy and huge bouts of charisma and charm.
Sometimes I want to just drop the meds so I could relive my manic episodes...
