The following pics were taken today at The Gap, Watsons Bay near Sydney Heads and in the Sydney Harbour National Park precinct. The weather wasn't ideal with heavy rain offshore as seen in the pics. Just after I took these pics I was drenched and left dripping wet after the heavy rain suddenly crossed the coast.

I might try to get out to Watsons Bay again at some point, but I'll want to go on a sunny day next time.

Great photos! Really made me imagine what it's like to stand on that cliff

So I am a HUGE fan of the ocean. It's one of the most powerful forces of nature in the world. I love seeing all different types of coastlines, from beaches, to cliffs like the ones pictured here. I may be a bit biased, but these pictures are gorgeous to me. I agree with a previous comment that it makes the pictures naturally moody, as well as they neutral color tone and low contrast. When I get older I want to travel the oceans, and I'll definitely be making a stop here. Thanks for sharing these pictures.

The structure of the stone is weird, what geological formation is this?
