View Full Version : Favorite Web Browsers and Why

All the other web browser threads are old and inactive, so I decided to make a new one. Which web browers do you like/prefer and why?

Personally, I like Safari and Firefox. Safari because it's fast, takes up less battery life and allows you to drag and drop images directly. Firefox because of the cool add-ons. I tried Chrome but couldn't get into it. Never tried Opera and I'm pretty sure nobody uses IE anymore :P

I use Firefox mostly because I'm familiar with it. I use Chrome sometimes for Netflix and Tumblr because it seems to handle it better (for whatever reason).

Chrome because it's easy to use, and all around better than Firefox and the like.

Firefox on my dads computer, Safari on my laptop. Mainly because other browsers are slow as fuck and crash

Safari is the most convenient especially for the apple products I use. If I'm using a windows device, then chrome is decent.

I use chrome. Even though its a memory sucker, it works quickly and can hold 20 tabs open at once with no delays

I use Chrome as well

Firefox all the way. I really like the tab groups feature they have. I also enjoy Opera and Maxthon. I only use chrome on other computers.

(Though, on mobile, I only use Chrome)

I use Chrome 99% of the time, but I was impressed with Microsoft Edge. I stopped using Edge because I couldn't find an adBlock extension for it.

firefox because of the add ons and it runs so smoothly; chrome because I use a lot of the google drive products and it handles them better

Strangely enough, they're the two that crash most for me.

On one computer I use EPIC and on the other Google Chrome, it lacks something but it is fast and as someone else said can hold 20 tabs no problem.
