Is this for St Patrick's Day by any chance? :) :clover:

Usually for my grandparents we do a traditional Irish stew, here's a simple one pot recipe that we sometimes use: Click me (http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/9624/irish-stew)

Since I'm not actually Irish, but most of my family are, this may not be the best, but my grandparents like it anyway.

I'll quote Paraxiom in here since he's from Ireland, see what he says :)

I don't know much about cuisine really :/ , but you can try making a stew of potatoes, beef (or lamb), carrots, onions, and assorted added spices and the like. Hope this helps: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irish_stew .

Stew would be a good one. Potatoes have to be involved somewhere. Cottage Pie or Shephards pie is also nice.
