Hands and feet are, by far, the most annoying things to draw. I have entire notebooks dedicated to just sketches of hands, which if anyone finds, they'll probably think I'm a serial killer or something. It took me an obscene amount of practice.

Personally, I think your drawings are already looking pretty good, so keep at it :D

No all your sketches are really good. I think you've captured the structure and proportions of the human body quite well. All I can say is keep practising hands and feet, the more you do it the more familiar you'll become with its anatomy. When we had to do sketching of the naked body in art class, we first drew circles/ovals to represent the different portions of the body parts, then we did the outlines and then after that the shadowing. I'm sorry I don't have any good tips on drawing, since I'm a pretty crap drawer myself. Sorry.. :/ Keep up the good work though!:):)

Why do you think your drawings are vile? Do you mean you just aren't happy with them, or Do you mean your wondering why you chose to draw that particular thing?

I have many drawings like this somewhere in my closet. I quite enjoyed sketching men and women. I'm not a pro by any means, but I do find it very enjoyable.

I also find feet and hands difficult.

Nah like you're not happy with them. Like I do that a lot with writing too. I'll write some bars and like them and the next day be rehearsing them and be like "This sucks omg"

Honestly, I think everyone finds hands difficult.
I myself am atrocious at anything human related anyway - my go-to art work is animals, but I know that my friend who is pro at human stuff still finds hands the hardest thing.

Fingers are so god damn difficult, I'm really genuinely impressed with those sketches. For my AS level art exam my teacher specifically told everyone not to draw fingers if they didn't want to fail xD If you practice a bit more and get some shading in I really think you've got something good going there. Well done, man!

I get that a lot. Every time, when I do anatomy drawings. :D

In the end there's a lot of erasing and resketching until all is as acceptable as possible and anatomically kinda correct. Imo, sketching is an ordeal in this case. Seems easier doing those anatomy stuff as oil drawings or such. It's easier to correct mistakes for some reasons.

And It also really doesn't help when your arts teacher says "Have a closer look at the bodies of your peers." Such a look can be misunderstood very quickly. :D

So I found it more helpful to having a girlriend who also like

1. sketching and drawing
2. also has nothing against closer looks from her bf, cause she ..
3. like it a lot having a closer look at her friend. Lucky me.

And the rest is always just practice practice practice.

I wish mine was as good as yours, too. I 'm not even to the point where I want to show them to someone else even tho I have a model I can use.
