I have a few but long story short I just found one on my scrotum underneath I couldn't see and my brother and he said you need to check moles in case they turn into cancer. I mean its a little tiny brown mole maybe 3mm so it doesn't look like its bad but I'm now worried well more like scared because of where it is.

I don't want to make a thing out of it and have to see a doctor but my bro says I should say something next time I go. So fine its super embarrassing but i'm not stupid (plus scared) so i'll do that if he's right.

But I mean I have some moles all over not loads but they're there right, so does that mean I'm more likely to get cancer? I mean I tan ok and stuff and last summer i wore high factor sun screen and everything.

So how stressed should I be?

Don't be stressed. google info on skin cancer moles. it has to be a certain size and an irregular shape etc.

It's most likely nothing to worry about but it's better to be sFe than sorry.Go to the doctor and get it checked.I know it's embarrassing but do it.
Let the doctor see your other moles to. Book an appointment as soon as possible.
Try not to be stressed.

Ummmm depends. Is the one on your scrotum new?

I think -- not 100% sure though, so it would be good to hear from others -- but I think that if they just stay the same size and color, then no problem, harmless. If they grow fast or get really dark, problem. To check size, you'd have to measure it because you won't notice it getting larger, if it does.

But heh, if in doubt, have the doc or a parent check it out. Easier for them to see than for you, and always good to have an experienced opinion.

Ok I don't know honestly. I just found it. I thought there was something else wrong which was just me being blond and I was kind of checking it all out but its not somewhere you'd normally see its kind of way under there. So yeah not really wanting to get someone going there, because I just know what will happen.

Not quite sure what that meant....
But so start by measuring it and writing it down, check it again at Christmas time to see if it is the same. Or take a cell phone pic of it, and repeat at Christmas and see how the photos compare.

If it gets to that point, if you are afraid to have your mom look at it, then the doctor is still a good choice.

Ack ok this makes me sound ridiculous. I sat on a cat sweet after a shower, I throw them on my bed to make the cats hunt them. This one sweet got stuck to my balls, I thought I had some wierd growth, so then i'm ok lets have a proper look down there. So yeah, blondness.

Ok I found this (http://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/Moles/Pages/Introduction.aspx) which says you get more in teenage years so maybe it is new after all. Anyway good idea about the photos, although i'll probably get arrested for child porn of myself knowing my luck.

I have quite a few of them, and I have heard pale or blonde people get them more. Plus I spend a lot of time in the sun. Most of the time they mean nothing, so just watch it and don't worry about it too much.

Not quite sure what to think about the derogatory "blondness" references though......

skin cancer would look more like an infection or burn, because cells are being destroyed. a cancerous lesion looks irregular (i.e. not round) pitted, crusty and sometimes bleeding. cancerous tumors inside the scrotum are usually hard like a little pebble.

sounds like it's just a benign mole.

Look up signs of cancerous moles online as these arent all of them. Initial warning signs can include irregular edges, the moles being raised slightly, irregular shape, or having satellite moles. As we aren't doctors so if you think it may be something that can be a potential problem then ask for a checkup. Melanoma (skin cancer) is HIGHLY treatable but, like all cancers, can spread and become more dangerous by metastasizing to different organs. Millions have moles that randomly appear that are completely benign so you'll just need to watch for the signs.

I just happen to be quite knowledgable on moles and skin cancer because I've had it.
I had melanoma which is the most fatal of all the skin cancers.

As for your mole, is it the size of a pencil eraser or bigger or smaller?
Is it misshapen? Does it have more than one color in it? If you were to fold it in half would both sides match?
Those are some things that could point to it being cancerous. They say to look for the odd man out meaning if you have several moles and there is one that is odd looking compared to all the others then it should be checked.
Another great thing to do with all your moles is to take high resolution pictures of them every 6 months to a year and then you can compare and see if any are growing bigger or changing in some way.
My guess is that your mole is probably normal, many people have little moles in discreet places but don't hesitate to ask your doc.
Another place to check for moles is on the soles of your feet and hands, as well as the nail beds. People with darker skin tend to get cancers in those areas more because they are the lightest.
My advice is never go in a tanning bed, wear sunscreen, and don't let your skin burn. The sun is more dangerous now a days then it use to be and skin cancer rates are rising every year.
Blondes and redheads are at most risk due less pigment in the skin.
Always do a body check it could save your life, it saved mine!
I'm left with a 6 inch scar but at least I'm alive. That's not to say it can't come back, because it quite often does, cancer is a scary thing.
