View Full Version : Getting extremly stressed out

Ever since I started middle school, nothing has been right. People come up to me, and slam me into the wall, or hit me in the back of the head with their trapper or some other hard object. Or in one of my digital tools classes, someone might grab a few of their other friends, grab my head in a way I can't look away , shove 5 or 6 digital cameras in my face, and set them to flash at the same time, effectively temporarily blinding me for a few moments. Or They might find me while I'm walking home, and throw shit at me, and walk on like they don't even give a damn about anyone else. Either that, they might bombard me with all the shit that they say and do to me. This year has been better than last year, but I've since learned to ignore them. But it keeps getting worse and worse, and if I report them, it gets even worse, and If it tell them to stop, it gets worse still. I just can't take it anymore, I'm down to my last thin thread of nerves. Today, our last day of school until the end of winter break, was really bad. Even though we watched movies in a few classes, and did a couple other non-homework things, it really sucked today. I got some crap about that because I wear glasses, I don't wear the clothes that everyone else wears, and I don't act like everyone else does, I am obviously extremely retarded, and therefore should have to take everybody's shit. I got my stuff pulled out of my arms, and I had to run across 3 sections of the building just to get it back, and when I got it back, the bell rang. When I told my teacher what happened, she said "Oh, and did your dog eat your homework too?" On my way home from school, I was followed by a group if idiots, and thought it would be funny if they ran up to me, and shoved snow down my jacket, and throw ice covered rocks at me. When I got home, I just went upstairs and brokedown, I couldn't control it. Just why does it have to fucking me be? Four Days from christmas, and I wish I could take a shoveland whack a few people's head off? Doesn't anybody have any respect for anyone anymore?

Dang man sorry everything isn't working out too well for you, the reality is that there are stupid people in middle/high school.
and it can suck but don't let it get you down, they will have to mature eventually and there problems aren't your problems, I'd say confront them and tell them firmly to stop and if that doesn't work tell someone at your school who can help you out, I know that you have already tried telling someone, but I think if these kids actually get in trouble they might leave you alone.
Hang in there man we're here for you

I'm really sorry for you Robert. I imagine it is very stressful. You're too nice to be hurt like that.

Kids are mean, and for no good reason other than they're little wild animals that often prey on the helpless. I'm only partially joking here. The rules that govern civilized interaction between members of our species often are non existent when you're a young teenager. Maybe it's because they're so insecure with themselves that they need tp pick on someone else, that feeling of power is so lacking elsewhere in their wretched little lives that they need to torment someone else to feel good, I don't know. It IS temporary, as you get a little older they start playing by the rules more, 18 year olds tend not to do these childish, immature things to eachother. Count the days down!

It helps to keep this in perspective, not to take it to personally (as in "there must be something wrong with me"), and perhaps most importantly, have a group of people you can really count on, people who accept you and enjoy you for who you are. It won't make the crap you're dealing with go away (only time will), but at least you'll have a net of people to catch you on these days.
