Help and Advice Moderator(s) [Closed]

We are currently looking for members to apply and fill the positions available in the Help and Advice section.

To be a moderator here a member will need to have shown an ability in the following areas:

A good knowledge in the areas covered in the Help and Advice section
Willing to give advice
ActiveThis section covers very sensitive and important topics. To be a moderator here you will have to be able to answer all kinds of questions and offer advice on the range of topics that come up here.

Please only make one post if you wish to apply. Comments on other applications are not needed and you are free to apply to more than one position.

A good knowledge in the areas covered in the Help and Advice section: Some of the most questions I usually see there are like "I get turned on by dicks. Am I gay?", and I can help with that. But other knowledge about it, however, well, I'll be reading the threads and stuff there, so I can learn about it.

A good knowledge in the areas covered in the Help and Advice section: I know a lot about teen sexuality and I try my best to help people in the Drugs and Meds section as well as the Relationships and Dating section (I know I haven't been that active there lately, but again, that can change). I could definitely help out in the VT General Hospital, as my mom is a nurse and she has taught me a lot, and I have undergone surgery, so I understand some of the things people talk about in there. I love to help people out in the Teen Sexuality section, and I use my knowledge (what I've learned from this site and just in general) to try and help people discover who they really are. I have my own relationship problems, and although I may not be able to get myself a date (because of my shyness), I seem to pretty good at helping people out in the R and D section.

Active: I'm pretty active there, I just started being active in the Drugs and Meds section, I check out the Teen Sexuality section rather often, and I plan on checking on the VT General Hospital and Relationships and Dating sections more often.

I will try my best, I think that I am someone who is lazy on a site until he has a duty, and what he does actually means a little bit more. So if appointed to mod of a section, I will do my best to focus on that section, but also continue to be active throughout VT, and do my best to help out everyone. I love to help people. :D

I feel I could be a great Help and Advice mod because I have vast knowledge about drugs, relationships, teen sexuality and am extremely interested in medical issues (see sig :P).
I am willing to give good and accurate advice to anyone who posts asking questions and wanting knowledge and guidance.
I spend a few hours each day on VT, so I'm very active here. :)

Lastly I'd like to say I feel I would be a great asset to the staff of VT as I am an intelligent and mature person with a lot of knowledge and advice to share.

i know i already have a job with p101, but i think i have something to offer here.

knowledge - i have to be honest in saying that i don't have a huge knowledge about drugs, either prescription or illegal. but in all other areas i have quite a bit of knowledge as demonstrated in posts in those forums.

Advice - i visit these forums to give advice already and don't intend to stop, what more can i say!

activity - baring exam periods, holidays, etc, i'm on most days for a couple of hours and average over 4.5 posts a day.

i think i could do this job well and would welcome the challange of it. good luck to everyone else applying as well.

my knowledge- I have a high degree of knowledge about drugs w/ tons of personal experience, and have made plenty of helpful contributions to relationships & dating threads. I understand the struggle of the visitors to teen sexuality and can often help individuals suffering from confusion, also i have a good understanding of general health problems that occur in general hospital with plenty of resources at my hands.

advice- i feel that i bring a lot of insight to the forums and that my posts are both practical and helpful to the thread starter and others. as i mod i would continue to do the same with more regular posts in all the forums of help & advice.

activity- i almost always have access to a computer and can be on vt at the very least a few hours everyday. this area of the site is one of my favourite to frequent besides the 4th wall, and i would keep a vigilant eye on every post.

Hi,
I am once again applying for the position of moderator! As I have mentioned multiple times before now, I am an experienced moderator, and administrator, so know how to treat other members, and the proper etiquette to use as a moderator, as well as being able to responsibly use the powers that come with the position.

A good knowledge in the areas covered in the Help and Advice section:
I joined this site to help other people, and enjoy helping others. I have a lot of experience when it comes to helping and advising others. As far as relationships and dating go, I believe I can be of huge help here, as I have been involved in some of the most complicated relationships imaginable. I can also offer advice for those having troubles with there sexuality, as I have done so before. I am good friends with a girl who has just come out as bisexual. Ive been there for her through it all, and helped her when most people resented her, and avoided her. As for the Drugs and Meds section, while I don't have as much experience in this section, I can still be of help. While i am personally against drug use, I can still advise people on the negative effects, and offer advice on stopping.

Willing to give advice:
As I said earlier, the main reason I joined VT was to give advice and help to others, as I rather enjoy doing so. Whenever I think I can be of use, I try to help others.

Active:
I now use VT everyday, and post frequently, whenever I feel I can be of some input. I spend the majority of my time on VT these days.

I would like toapply as I am known for good counciling amoung my friends and I have went through a lot of the problems that may be asked on these particular forums, and if there is stuff i hant went through I probably talked to someone who did. I am very willing to help and very active around the threads, I know how to research information on the internet that could help people on these forums. But the main reason I think I would be good at the job is because I want to do it.
