Knowledge in the area: I have to admit, as someone who's going through puberty himself, I can relate to other people, and I know my stuff pretty well. I mean they practically shoved it down my throat from 4th through 6th grade. I never got less than a 99 on a health test :P. But anyways, I'm pretty knowledgeable and love to help people out, and if I don't know something I always love to look things up, and I'll do my best to find as much information on something to help someone out (although I can't say I do the same in the Ramblings of the Wise section).
Current and past activity in the P101 forums: I used to post a lot in the puberty section, but lately I've kind of strayed away from it, but I haven't really been around lately, because my computer wasn't working, and I've actually been building up my social life, but I still am pretty active, and plan on being even more active, especially on the weekends (even more especially on saturdays when I have lots of free time on my hands), and again, I love to help people out and I mainly focus on the General Discussions section, Help and Advice section, and the puberty section, so I definitely look through the puberty section a lot, although I have to say, recently I have not been posting much in it, but that can change. :P
How you interact with other members: With the exception of in the Ramblings of the Wise, I'm usually kind and helpful when it comes to other members, although when I'm down, I have to admit, I sometimes take it out on other people, but I don't see how I could get ticked off at someone in the puberty section. But anyway, as I previously stated, I love to help people, and will do my best to deal out advice where advice is due. If someone has a problem, I'd love to help them out. I'm also usually nicer to newer members, members with serious questions, and members who are nice back to me. :)
Although.. I think there are probably more qualified people than me, but yeah, if no one else applies, and my application is somehow the best, then I will do my best to serve my country... I mean.. To serve VT. :P Remember to note that I was honest!!! :P

ok, i think i'm keen to give it a go. so lets get to the essential criteria.

1. knowledge. well since joining in feb this year it all started out as a learning experience for me. but now i feel as though i have learnt heaps and feel like i'm capable to now offer the advice rather then receive it. i don't pretend i know everything there is to know about puberty, but i know enough to give accurate and helpful advice to others.

2. past/current activity. ok, so when i first joined vt i was like asking all the questions. so if you look at my posts from 6 months ago for example, i'm probably asking something about penis size or height, etc. but in my more recent posts you would find that i'm answering those same sought of questions i asked myself. i'm a fairly active member and average about 4.5 posts a day since i joined. if i was successful i would do my best to be online as often as i possibly can.

3. interation with members i think i have a great relationship with all people i have interacted with in p101 and vt on the whole. my advice on issues has generally been well received and i appreciate the advice others having given to me. i have never received any threatning pm's so that has to be a good sign (haha). i have also developed a strong reputation, especially in the p101 forums. i love to help and be friends with everyone and it makes me feel good to know that i'm helping people.

i think i could do this job well, i am familiar with the vt rules and would welcome the challange of being a mod. in the spirit of fair play, good luck to all the other people applying as well.
stephen!!!

I am on every single day for at least half-an-hour. Plus, I can tell the difference between truth and lies, spam and not spam, and of course, unpuberty related topics and puberty related topics. I will make you all proud. Or at least I will try. :D

1. I believe I have a great amount of knowledge in this area, and am competent in being able to offer good, correct advice and support to those who may need it.
2. I'm active daily for about an hour and a half sometimes up to three hours, and I feel I can give advice and help to anyone who is in need of it. I think I would be a really good moderator, as I have knowledge in this area.
3. I feel I interact extremely well with other members, I take a positive approach and am good-natured with everyone.

I would really like to be chosen for this, as I feel I would be a great contribution, as I can bring my knowledge and positive attitude to the forum.

Bad things:
- I take insulting comments directed towards me very personally.

No voting here. The senior staff decides who is chosen. As the original post says, only one post is necessary and only post if you intend on applying. It's not that difficult. Only post an application or don't post at all.

Knowledge in the area - I have knowledge in this area because me as a Teen I understand what is all going on. I love trying to help people out, it makes me feel like I've really made a difference if someone is in a tough spot.
Current and past activity in the P101 forums - I get on the forums everyday that I get a chance. I love to see what people have to say. I have had previous names on Virtual Teens, just forgot the name of the usernames.
How you interact with other members - I am fairly new to this I started my 1st account over the summer but I am very well educated in this field. I post a few forums myself and the answers have helped me learn.

I would LOVE to be a moderator. I always have loved helping out. I hope I am chosen!

Well, I know I haven't been the best poster over the last few months, but I am very good at helping people, and P101 was the first place I looked when I had a serious problem, and you all helped me, and whenever possible i would like to pass on knowledge to others I spend a lot of my time in P101, and Ive made many friends on VT, so I would love to be the new P101 Mod.

Heheh.. Might as well apply..

I think the P101 forums are the only place, where I am not ''mean'' ''evil'' or anythign like that, I can be nice anywhere but certain things just tick me off..

Anyway, yeah I know about puberty no doubt there..

I am active.. I've been here awhile and I know how things work.. I can be active every normal day.

Hmm and as I said I can be nice, mean, cruel, evil, good you name it.. But overall I am understanding I can analyze and I am considerant.. Sometimes I am not but I try to stay away from this site when I am in a bad mood..

I have knowledge in the area. I am active when I need to be. I have moderator experience. In my opinion I think I am a good canadate. Any questions PM.

Well we know that some peoplle here do not like me, we also know that I have had my run ins with a few members, I won't lie but nothing that could not easily be resolved, but I believe that we all know the difference between spamming, and useless un puberty related posts, and people who actually have good contributions to make, and are diversley seeking help and guidence in the forum, and those who aren't. I have frequently told new members not to double post, and not to insult other members, and as for my knowladge in the topic, I know for instance, what we moderate, puberty for boys, girls and polls and general questions, I also know, and most of my posts back this up that I have an adept knowladge in the puberty topic, and I never leave a problem unanswerd.

and also, as nearly all moderators are working in the american time zone, chosing another european mod, will ensure that people will not have to wait for sometimes a whole day, without getting the advice they need.

Knowledge-I think everyone here says they know all about it so i will too, I know all about it. But seriously I understand puberty as a whole and I'm one of the few people here who don't really want things to get into debates (circ. threads, "u have wrong info", etc.)

Activity- You guys are obviously gonna think not much, but what i just realised is that I'm like the only person here that reads through the questions AND the answers. Im one of the few people that doesnt say the same answer as the last 10 people have in that thread. So yeah my posts are very very low but I've been a member for a while and the posts I do make are worth more than the posts like i said above.

I interact with others here unbelieveably great. I tend to want to make friends and not get mad at anyone for anything the post/say. The only time I ever even got mad was a while ago when I was PMing mods for help because someone i met here was going to committ suicide, Deadmanwalking. Unfortuantly none of the mods said or did anything to help (no disrespect to anyone) and Im assuming he did committ suicide because he was never online again after he told me he was doing it that night.

Yeah so I just wanna be a good mod that helps people and doesnt sit there looking for posts to lock all day long (again no disrespect).

I know that you probably won't choose me but I'm 15 i have my problems as well as all the others but the one thing i love to do is help people. i try to get on every time i possibly can. i don't know every rule by heart but i am getting better. the only forum I get in is P101 (mainly puberty for boys). A good reason i think you should choose me is because my mom is a nurse and my dad is a doctor i could ask them questions that i don't know. i really want to be a mod so i can help people even more. because you guys helped me so much it's unreal!!! And thanks to all the people that helped me you helped a bunch!!! :D

Knowledge in the area I am somehow experienced in the area of puberty. My mum started talking to me and preparing me when I was eight because she thought I was about to start developing more. I actually know just about everything there is in that area, at least with females and have probably gone through some of it before on my own.

Current and past activity in the P101 forums I usually post in there once, maybe twice a week because everyone apparently gets on more than I do and I do not like repeating what other people have to say. I do read through it though and if no one has put in what I believe, I do put it in.

How you interact with other members I believe I interact well with the members on this site, even though I am barely on and it is usually in different areas. I have been on this site for over three years all together and I have never had a problem with a member on here and a member has never had a problem with me, as far as I know.

My Own Downfall I try to come on here as often as I get the chance and I am sometimes not able to get on the computer for a couple of days at a time.

I would love to be a moderator. I enjoy helping people out.

Knowledge in the area - I know quite a lot of knowledge in this area because when I started puberty I read up lots about it and put my mind at ease about it, I want to share my knowledge with everyone that needs help in this area of infomaton.

Current and past activity in the P101 forums - Well I practically live inside the p101 section since I find it one of the most active sections in the forum and I am very interested in helping people in this section of the forum

How you interact with other members - Well I love to help any one that needs help, I love answering every ones questions even if they think its stupid or embarrassing or just need any help I love to give help to anyone that needs it, even if I don't know them at all!

I would love to be a moderator on this section of the forum because to me its the heart of the forum and I'd love to be able to give more to the forum by moderating this part of the forum

thank you and it's nice I've had the opportunity to apply :)

Hi,
Well ive been on here for a while now, and I am interested in becoming a moderator, as im sure Redcar will remember (I used to be called DanlovesJess. I think you'll remember me.) As ive said before, I have taken up the position of moderator and admin on various forums, so have a good idea of how these forums work, and how to behave and react to different situations.
Anyway:

1. Knowledge in the area:
As I am currently going through puberty I think I can relate to the subject relatively well anyway, but I have a very good knowledge of the subject, and the changes it brings, and how to deal with them. I understand all the emotions, fears, and changes people go through, and how to help them deal with them. I have recently (just this week i believe) talked a friend out of commiting suicide, and have done in the past many times. I listen to people, and love to help them with there problems.

2. Current and past activity in the P101 forums:
I have always been most active in these P101 Forums, I beleive. Recently not so active, because I have been having trouble getting on the internet, although I have just repaired the pc. meaning i can now come on here everyday! I intend to become very active on here from now on!

3.How do you interact with other users:
I act in a respectable, fair manner, not only on here but in all cases. I am fair, and treat other members with respect. I will not flare up, if i am insulted by someone, but rather let it all pass over my head so to speak. I am a very reasonable, truthfull person, as well as loyal and friendly. I love to help others, which is why i joined here. I am an easy person to get along with, and I take pleasure helping others with there problems. I will act in a responsible manner in a though situation. As far as my use of the powers that come with the position of moderator, I use them only when neccersary, and will not lock a thread because i simply disagree with the users view (unless this view conflicts with the forum guidelines and rules of course). I respect other views, and always try to make the right decision, even if it is me that comes worst off.

I would love it, to be given a chance with something like this, and i promise i would not disapoint you if i got the position.

Thanks,
DarkEden
