Im sorry if this has been asked before, but I'm new and have relieved rep, I'm just curious as to whether it is possible to find what post was given rep, thanks

Go to your user CP (top left) and then the rep should be sitting right there at the top.

You should be able to click on the thread/view the title in which your rep was given to you on. :)

If someone leaves a comment with it telling you why they gave it too yo know why if they dont leave a comment you have no way to find out.

In addition to what Val and PR said, if you ever feel you have received unfair rep you can always contact Donkey (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/member.php?u=10320) or Scarface (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/member.php?u=19064) and ask for it to be removed, if it's really bothersome.

It won't say who gave it to you, but if they want to be cowards and give you a red rep without saying who they are so be it. I like getting the red reps, it makes me proud of who I am. The more the merrier! :D

Usually red reps aren't meant to be malicious, but rather constructive criticism. Take into consideration why somebody may have neg repped you. If you still think you're in the right, then I guess that's alright too. But usually people will take you less seriously the lower your rep is.
